Combating Period Poverty

Since 2021, Help A Girl Out USA has united our community around a simple but powerful mission: ensuring that everyone has access to essential period products. Together, we help women and girls throughout Berks and Schuylkill counties live, learn, work, and participate in everyday life with dignity.

As we celebrate our fifth year, we're inspired by the incredible support of our community. This year's February campaign saw a remarkable 56% increase in donations, allowing us to reach even more individuals facing period poverty.

Thank you for being part of the solution and helping us create lasting change.

Make an impact in the challenges of period poverty this February.

1 in 7 women and girls age 12 to 44 in Pennsylvania, live below the poverty line. This lack of access forces some women to miss work and causes 1 in 4 teens in the U.S. to miss school.
